Welcome to Lokaserve. By using our mobile application and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About Lokaserve
Lokaserve is a marketplace platform that connects customers with independent, local service providers (electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, AC technicians, cleaning professionals, and delivery providers). Lokaserve facilitates the connection between parties but does not directly employ or control service providers.
2. Service Provider Independence
All service providers listed on Lokaserve are independent professionals. Lokaserve is not responsible for the quality, safety, timeliness, or outcome of any work performed by service providers. Any disputes regarding service quality should be resolved directly between the customer and the provider.
3. Payments
All payments for services are handled directly between the customer and the service provider, typically in cash. Lokaserve does not process, hold, or guarantee any payments. Pricing is agreed upon between the customer and provider before or at the time of service.
4. User Responsibilities
By using Lokaserve, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and while using the service
- Not misuse the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purposes
- Treat service providers and other users with respect
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
5. Provider Verification
Service providers are required to submit their CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) for identity verification before they can accept service requests. This process is designed to enhance customer safety and trust. However, verification does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of a provider's skills or reliability.
6. Account Suspension & Termination
Lokaserve reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account that:
- Violates these Terms of Service
- Provides false or misleading information
- Engages in fraudulent or abusive behaviour
- Harasses other users or service providers
- Attempts to circumvent platform rules or safety measures
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lokaserve shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or financial loss resulting from services arranged through the app.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology associated with Lokaserve (including the app design, logo, AI features, and written content) are the property of Lokaserve and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Pakistani courts.
